Type of event
Rhia performs for a variety of events such as weddings, birthdays (of all ages), family celebrations, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, anniversaries, corporate and cultural events, and holiday parties. Shows are tailored to particular events in terms of music, costume coloring & coverage, and more!
Props & Show length details
A standard bellydance show is 20-25min long. This can include props such as veil, finger cymbals, sword, candle tray, and/or assaya. Additionally I'll include popular music (suited for your party) to encourage the audience or guest(s) of honor up to dance. Most shows start with an upbeat dramatic entrance and end with a drum solo. Ultimately, I will help you in formatting a show that will fit your event and captivate & mesmerize your audience.
Additional song categories I can offer include Turkish song classics, Çiftetelli, roman oyun havasi 9/8, Egyptian & Lebanese classic music, Saidi, Beladi, beladi taqsim, Iraqi music, raqs al hachaa & kawliya. Bollywood music is also in my repertoire, but only for audience participation.
Music options always depend upon audience/party and I'm happy to take requests!
Rates
A bellydance performance in the Baltimore/ D.C./Northern VA area for a private event starts at *$400. A standard show runs 20-25min with time for photos after. Included in this pricing is also a 30min window of time to start the show, to allow for some grace in your party planning.
Weddings and other large events start at $500 to accommodate for more flexibility in time and travel.
Regular venue rates (weekly or monthly) range from $250-300 for a 20-25min show. (This discount is for regular shows only)

A second show can be added with a small discount. Holiday rates for days such as New Years Eve, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Valentine's Day are double for both regular restaurant gigs & private events.
